It is a shocking reality that our youth are turning away from Islam in very large numbers. I have spoken to many young adults who don’t share this with their parents but have become completely disenchanted with Islam. And the biggest reason for this is a lack of understanding. They have valid questions that the adults have not been able to answer because the adults were not knowledgeable enough themselves of their knowledge was contradictory to modern science and times. The unfortunate truth is that Quran is perfectly capable of addressing all the modern concerns IF it is translated and understood correctly. If we don’t wake up and fix our own understanding and address these concerns with an open mind, leaving our egos and attachments behind, we will lose our youth to atheism or other ways of life.
