The concept of husband being the “majazi khuda” is not only totally unislamic, but is at the root of misogynistic mindset of men in Pakistan. Islam does not recognize any Khuda, majazi or haqeeqi, other than The One, The Supreme Allah Bari Ta’alah. Even remotely attributing His stature or attributes lead to shirk.
I appeal to the younger generation of Pakistan to join me in making it their mission to educate our nation from this ignorant notion that husband is majazi khuda. Not only it’s shirk, it’s a major source of disharmony in marriages.
