For generations, Muslim women have been told to stay in the background, their roles confined to being wives and mothers. But what if that narrative was never meant to define them? What if they were meant to lead, innovate, and make an impact—without compromising their faith? In this episode, Eram Saeed challenges the status quo, calling on Muslim women to break free from outdated societal expectations and step into their full potential. She dives into the misinterpretations of Islamic teachings, the importance of questioning authority, and why it’s time for women to reclaim their power in leadership, business, and social change.
Eram also shares her own groundbreaking achievements, including her recent induction into the Transformational Leadership Council (TLC)—making history as the first Muslim to join. She discusses the launch of Jamali.love, a platform designed for women ready to change the world, and why she’s dedicated to creating a movement that empowers Muslim women to lead with confidence.
Whether you feel held back by cultural norms, lack of support, or self-doubt, this episode is a bold wake-up call to rise, thrive, and claim your place in the world.
Empowering Muslim Women to Lead
Eram Saeed has faced criticism for her passionate advocacy for women’s empowerment, with some even accusing her of having an "agenda." Her response is clear and unapologetic—yes, she has an agenda, and she is not hiding it. Her mission is one of ethics and morality:
- to find and uplift Muslim women who will change the world
- to help them embrace their full potential beyond the roles of wives and mothers
- to challenge outdated beliefs that confine women’s contributions to family life alone
For centuries, Muslim women have demonstrated their capability in leadership, entrepreneurship, and intellectual contributions, yet many have been held back by societal norms. Eram’s goal is to break these barriers and encourage women to step into their full power.
While being a wife and mother is deeply honorable, it should never define the entirety of a woman's existence. Men naturally take on multiple roles throughout their lives while being fathers and husbands, and women should also have that opportunity.

Challenging Patriarchal Narratives
Controversy is no longer a foreign concept to Eram, especially when it comes to questioning widely accepted narratives that have kept Muslim women in a place of submission. She directly challenges the belief that scholars should never be questioned; Allah, and by extension, Islam itself encourages reasoning, critical thinking, and seeking understanding.
Nowhere in the Quran does Allah forbid questioning—even His own words are meant to be explored with deep reflection and inquiry. Yet, many women have been conditioned to blindly follow male scholars, accepting interpretations that reinforce their subservience. Eram unapologetically calls this out as a form of scholarly idolization, urging women to recognize that true faith is not about blind obedience but about conscious belief and understanding.
While she acknowledges that her words may be polarizing, she sees this discomfort as a necessary step toward awakening. Many women feel triggered because her message shakes the foundation of their identity, shaped by generations of societal conditioning rather than true Islamic teachings.
But Eram’s stance is firm: Women were not created to serve men or exist as an afterthought—they are equal, capable, and powerful in their own right. She urges women to wake up, challenge limiting beliefs, and embrace the strength that Allah has already given them.
Muslim Women Belong in Leadership Spaces
For too long, Muslim women have been confined by outdated societal narratives, reducing their roles to serving men or staying within domestic spaces. Meanwhile, Western women have long been at the forefront of global leadership, business, and social change. It’s time for Muslim women to claim those spaces too.
Eram’s mission is to ensure that Muslim women take their rightful place alongside the world’s top professionals, influencers, and entrepreneurs. Islam never imposed limits on women's potential—society did. It’s time to reclaim the legacy of strong, intelligent, and capable Muslim women who once shaped history.
To support this movement, Eram launched Jamali.love, a platform designed for women ready to break barriers and create impact. While she previously worked in marriage and relationship coaching, her greatest fulfillment comes from helping women find their purpose, gain clarity, and lead with confidence.
She envisions a world where faith, family, independence, and leadership coexist—without compromise. To guide women on this journey, she will soon be hosting a master class, sharing the transformative principles that reshaped her own life.
